We have recently discovered that some maintenance apps (such as MacKeeper) may damage iStudio Publisher’s application bundle when used to ‘clean’ a Mac. This occurs if the cleaning process removes the 32-bit binary from the bundle, with the result that iStudio Publisher will no longer launch.
To fix the problem configure your maintenance app to exclude iStudio Publisher from its cleaning process (or stop using the maintenance app), and install a new copy of the iStudio Publisher application software.
More information here.
Note that from iStudio Publisher 1.3 onwards we’ll be removing support for 32-bit binaries, so this will no longer be an issue.
